Jerome Oliver “G” Williams August 19th, 1919 – January 8th, 2018
Zebulon – Jerome Oliver “G” Williams was born in Franklin County to Jerome Oliver “Big G” Williams and Adeline Mullen “Miss Addie” Williams. He married Lessie Florence “Flossie” Anderson on November 15th, 1941 in South Carolina. The couple lived in Bunn and 1950 they built their home on Old Highway 64 where he opened “G’s Paint and Body” next door to their home. He officially retired in 1984 but continued to work on cars in his backyard shop until he had a stroke in 2002.
He was an active Mason and member of White Stone Lodge 155 in Wakefield, NC receiving Sublime Degree of Master Mason 2 on February 2nd, 1949.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Florence, and brothers B. C. and Joseph Williams. He is survived by his children: Amelia Jayne Whitfield (Dale), Ronnie Williams (Marie), and Deborah Brannan (Russell); seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 pm Thursday at Massey Funeral Home, Zebulon. Entombment will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service beginning at 1 PM.
